I honestly have no idea how I came up with the name for this blog. I wanted it to be something interesting yet somewhat cute. One day when I am actually teaching I want to pull this back up and see how I've grown or changed since these current beliefs as a future teacher.
I have never had a blog before but I think I may enjoy this. I have a tendency to be a bit wordy, but maybe that will be a good thing for this project. I also tend to be able to communicate my ideas better when I write them down in some way, so maybe I will be more articulate in this blog than in an oral presentation. Creating the blog itself was pretty easy. I have always been competent when using computers and following the directions given for setup was not difficult. And with those two things being said, I hope that will give me some insight to the outcome of this entire project.
My avatar somewhat reflects me and my personality. I have dark hair and eyes and tan skin depending on the season so I tried to make that match. My avatar is also wearing purple, which is my favorite color! She is also wearing flip flops. This is definitely me because no matter what time of the year it is, you can find me wearing my favorite pair of flip flops. I tried to make my avatar reflect that I am a happy, approachable person. The stack of books in front of my avatar is not only to reflect learning, but to show that I am an avid reader. If I do not have a physical book with me, my kindle is always in my purse. All in all I wanted this avatar to reflect who I am in reality.
Hopefully this blog will give me the practice I need to one day blog all the time, but I am excited to see how it this project progresses.
